3M SandBlaster™ Dual angle sanding sponge is ideal for preparing bare surfaces (wood, metal, drywall) prior to the first coat of finish. This SandBlaster™ dual-angle sanding sponge in fine P180-grit is the ideal choice for preparing freshly coated surfaces (such as wood or metal) prior to the next coat of paint or varnish or for applying the final finish to your project. It is designed for use on detailed surfaces or tricky angles, where you need greater conformability or a sharper angled product. The sponge is easy and comfortable to hold, as well as flexible enough to get into those awkward, hard-to-reach corners. It can be used either wet or dry and is washable and reusable. When you are smoothing surfaces for a fine finish or between coats of paint or varnish, SandBlaster™ abrasives can make the job of sanding less work, whilst providing excellent quality results. They can be used on a wide range of surfaces including wood, metal, plastic, filler and fiberglass and have a special coating to resist clogging. When dust builds up, simply knock it off the abrasive surface and carry on. SandBlaster™ dual-angle sanding sponge is made of durable, washable foam that is coated evenly with mineral, the result is a long-lasting, reusable sanding sponge that cuts up to 3X faster and delivers a more consistent finish when compared to conventional abrasives of comparable grits.
