Rutland liquid creosote remover is great for all stove and flue types, but best for pellet stoves where granules fall through the burner pan. Spray on an existing fire or pre-treat fuel before adding to a fire to make a chimney safer and more efficient. This heat-activated liquid evaporates while removing creosote buildup from inside a chimney. As the chemicals penetrate the sticky, tar-like creosote, it turns into a loose, powdery, non-adhering ash that can easily be brushed away. Weekly use will prevent further creosote from forming. Safe for use in all types of chimneys, fireplace inserts, wood stoves, airtight stoves and fireplaces. Will not harm catalytic converters.
