36" wide, two-drawer lateral file efficiently maximizes floor space and is designed for light-duty use. Each drawer accommodates letter-size or legal-size filing from side-to-side with included hangrails. Front-to-back filing is possible with other accessory hangrails (not included). Drawers lock and feature ball-bearing slide suspension for smooth movement. Mechanical interlock allows only one drawer to open at a time. Steel, reinforced case construction features baked enamel finish for durability. Two adjustable leveling glides in front corners stabilize the lateral file on uneven surfaces. Black lateral file is certified by SCS to be in compliance with specific, indoor, air-quality emission requirements and meets or exceeds applicable ANSI/BIFMA standards.
